Find a potential corporate customer for your startup
We will select 5 startups with smart energy-related solutions for a new program that we run together with Energimyndigheten. The participants will get support into finding commercial collaborations with established companies.
Ignite Sweden, together with the Swedish Energy Agency (Energimyndigheten), launch a new program to help startups with smart energy-related solutions find commercial collaborations with established companies.
The program is called “Verifiera och kommersialisera” (in English, verify and commercialize) and it is funded by the Swedish Energy Agency.
- We want to support the acceleration of energy-related startups and the scaleups in their road to the market. We need to create an impact now, due to the energy transition. Together with Ignite Sweden, we can give these companies the right push and this is a new way to do it, says Sasan Shaba, Portfolio Manager and Business Developer at the Swedish Energy Agency.
During the program, five selected startups will get sales coaching, legal support and will meet potential corporate customers.
- The program is tailored to the participant startup needs. Our goal is that they finish the program with at least one contract signed to develop a pilot project together with a commercial customer. The impact of CO2 of the projects will also be calculated, explains Stina Lantz, Ignite Sweden’s Program Manager.
To be admitted into the program, the startups must have an energy-related solution that it is not on the market yet but that it is ready to be tested in a customer environment within the next 12 months. The participant companies must be established in Sweden, have commercial potential and a scalable business model or technology.
The program kicks-off in October and it includes three in-person meetings, joint visits to potential customers and ongoing support.
The startups that are interested in participating in this new program should apply by September 5 on www.ignitesweden.org/verifiera-och-kommersialisera.
