In the first edition of the Sweden-India Startup Matchday on October 12, Swedish startups with sustainable solutions for smarter cities within digitalization, electrification, smart mobility and IoT have the unique chance to meet world-leading corporations established in the Asian giant.
Below you will find the details on how to apply to this international matchmaking. Applications for startups close on 22 September.
The following companies will be participating in the Matchday:
HCL Technologies: A leading global IT services company that helps global enterprises re-imagine and transform their businesses through Digital technology transformation. The company is primarily engaged in providing a range of software services, business process outsourcing and infrastructure services.
L&T Technologies: A global leader in Engineering and R&D (ER&D) services. With 593 patents filed for 53 of the Global Top 100 ER&D spenders, LTTS lives and breathes engineering.
Tata Chemicals: A science-led company with a portfolio that covers basic and specialty chemistry products. It is the third soda ash producer globally and Asia’s largest saltwork.
Tata Consultancy Services: A software and services provider in India. It is part of the Tata Group, which oversees operations for over 100 companies in seven business sectors.
Tech Mahindra: An Indian multinational company that provides information technology (IT) and business process outsourcing (BPO) services.

Applications for startups close on Wednesday, 22 September. Please note that only startups in Sweden can participate in this event.

Join our webinar Doing Business in India on 5 October and learn the typical business practices in the Asian giant within their local context. You will also get an overview of its economy, industry, startup ecosystem, business culture, investment climate and much more.
This webinar is aimed to prepare startups for their meetings during the matchmaking event, but is also open to anyone interested in the Indian market.
